Shuga Henry is a passionate performing artist. The arts is a driving force in her life.  She has been writing plays since the age of 10. Her works include The Unanswered Question featured in the 2010 Midtown International Festival and the Manhattan Black Board series, Who am I? Do You Know Me?, We've Got the Beat, and  The Journey are her most popular plays.

Shuga performs as a performing artist and singer throughout  the New York Tri-State area. When she is not on stage, she is writing, directing stage plays and filming documentaries. She is currently working on a one-woman show for 2014.

She is available for festivals, schools, libraries, conferences, senior center and churches, She also provides workshops for musical theatre and private voice lessons.
